If you are thinking about having a beautiful and romantic wedding in some exotic locale, you should seriously consider a
Maui beach wedding in Hawaii. I've been to many far off locations and I can tell you there aren't too many beach locations that can top Maui, Hawaii.
If you've ever been to the Florida Keys you know that the islands there are pretty flat. There just isn't a whole lot of personality to them. The same can be said for many of the beaches on the Florida coast. I've been to Cabo, and although the beach was nice, I found myself immediately wondering where the palm trees were. I can't imagine getting married in Mexico (especially with all of the violence they've had in the last few years).
In 2009 I spent some time in the Philippines, and although they had a few nice beaches, nothing even remotely compared to what you find in Hawaii. I've also traveled to five of the Hawaiian islands and I can tell you that Maui is by far the best when it comes to having a beach wedding.
Maui is less crowded than Oahu (where Honolulu is located). The beaches are just better. The big island of Hawaii has far less beaches to choose from and you may have to deal with bigger distances and bad air (from the volcano). Kauai is nice, but most of the best beaches don't face into the west, so its harder to do a sunset wedding there.
Take a look at some of our beach wedding photographs and I'm sure you'll agree.
Look at this beach. Maui is simply the best. That's why locals have called it
Maui no ka oi, which means "Maui is the best."
